Our patented Stampede Lace is built for good times and easy to use. Here is everything you need to tie it, wear it, and get the perfect fit.

How to tie your lace: attach the wood clip at the center seam, loop the lace around itself, pull tight and center the loops, then run the lace back through the grommets
How to use your lace: attach the wood clip at the center seam, bring the lace down around your chin, and tie a half shoelace knot under the clip for the water

Dialing in your fit: every product page lists the fit style (Crown, Decky, Yupoong and more). Smaller head? Check dad hats and 5 panels. Bigger head? Fitted styles, snap extenders and XXL have you covered. New hat feeling snug? Give it a day or two to break in.

Broken strap

I’ve only had it 2 DAYS. Went to adjust the snap. And it broke. How does that even happen. On of the buttons is still stuck after breaking.

Finally a hat that fits

All my New Era snapbacks are either on the last or 2nd to last snap. This is us fully snapped and fits perfectly. 10/10 Just wish there was more variety for the larger hats.

GOAT

Ive never been able to have 4 snaps on a hat before and this is amazing. Automatic new favorite hat. I wear a size 8 fitted normally and have been stuck in a blank XXL snap back from Amazon the last 2 years. As long as you're willing to accept that small business means longer wait and this isn't Amazon you won't be disappointed. Mine came exactly 3 weeks from order. Looking forward to ordering more down the line and hope to see more colorful xxl options

Wait time and lack of size options

I waited 28 days for my mystery hat, to me that is unacceptable. This is my 5th mystery hat I've ordered (only because of the size), and is going to be my last. I like your hats but I can only fit in the XL ones. I would have bought more in the past if I could get the designs I want in my size.

Hey Dan! Thank you for taking the time to reach out and the 5 orders - we really appreciate it! As far as our shipping times, did you know Findlay hats are made to order right here in Portland, OR? This can cause longer shipping times than bigger companies that have on-hand inventory ready to ship when orders are placed, and sometimes orders with free US Shipping can take a couple of weeks for us to push through. That said, we always do our best to get orders out as fast as we can, though sometimes it for sure can take longer than we would like. Have you tried one of our live shoppers at our retail store? There is usually a selection of 4-8+ different XL hat options in there + a custom hat bar where you can make a XXXL hat of your choice using one of our 9+ designs or endless leather patches. These also ship usually the same day, so you are able to get the hat a lot faster. Either way, we appreciate the support and hope you have some good times with the hats you do have on hand!
